Pin top menu

What do you think about the top menu bar being fixed in position so that no matter where we are on the page we always have access to it? Soft of like how Gmail changed the behavior when you're scrolling down through your mail.

I personally hate it when sites do that, because it distracts from the actual content I want to read. As usual, happy to hear other opinions though!

We can always talk about it. I also dislike the fixed bar. Only valid option for me is one that only shows up when you scroll up.

I like sticky menus if there is a need for it. In an unfiltered watchlist, there might be a need. :)

But never more than 30px of screen real estate. Another solution is to use #go-to-top links at the bottom of the page.
