I'm testing the API and I noticed that in at least one case (I'm now looking for more), the search endpoint does not return the intended show, not even in second place, while the web search does show both results.
For example: "Lip Sync Battle" shows only the UK version, whilst the web search shows (as intended) the American one:
This is indeed not correct, the http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/1732/lip-sync-battle show should come out on top.
But it's not appearing in your results because you're using the "singlesearch" endpoint which always only returns a single show. Using the regular search endpoint will return all matches: http://api.tvmaze.com/search/shows?q=Lip%20Sync%20...
You are absolutely right. Not sure how I did not notice it. Indeed, the /search/shows endpoint works as I expected. The matching should be different, but it's okay.
