Air Crash Investigation is a UK show not a US show

I just now corrected this series that was accidentally added to the US no problem to the UK and added in it's website URL. As I was doing this I noticed the air time for tonight's episode is at 21:00 not 20:00 as it was showing so I corrected the episode airtime. I however cannot determine if the other episodes listed upcoming will also air at 21:00 so any UK fan/member please look for the air times and correct future episodes if needed?

Let's say that 'Air Crash Investigation' is a special kind of series. NGC broadcoast all their episodes in a different chronological order per country. Episode 1 may actually air for example on 5 january in England, however Episode 4 could be broadcast on 5 january as first in the Netherlands. It has been very confusing to be honest and there's not really a channel that premieres them first, however it is Canadian produced, but in Canada it is aired by discovery http://www.discovery.ca/Shows/Mayday and not NGC, so yeah I think it's best to put it on the UK as Air Crash Investigation is better known as title, which is the UK name for it.

Think we had the same issue on Rage. Some episodes air first in Canada under 'Mayday' others air first in the UK under 'Air Crash Investigation' but the USA has also aired some episodes first as well. Nat Geo do have an issue of commissioning series to just air worldwide so sometimes it's really difficult to determine the exact country the show premieres in.

I've just now checked next week's tv guide & it has the next ep (Fatal Delivery) airing at 21:00hrs, which I have updated in the db

Does this not need to be changed to the country that produces the series and airs the episodes first then, so Canada and Discovery channel? I know it's a bit of a obscure series with the way it does things, and even though two episodes of the current series have apparently premiered in the UK, 2 out of the 4 current episodes also premiered in Australia?

I think it is better to stick with UK for now. Most of it's latest episodes aired in the UK (over the last seasons), however produced in Canada, it does not air firstly over there for sure. From my experience, Season 14 (previous season), 5 of it's episodes aired firstly in the Netherlands.

Argh, such cases are a mess.

If there is one network/country where the vast majority (like 90%) of the episodes premiere, we should stick to that network as a source for all airdates. But if it's more like 50/50, or even 30/30/30, we could consider (as described in the policy) to deviate from the norm for this show.
