I would love to see this feature on the site. For example I'm going to search for Dexter and i write it in the search box up and instead of get search result I going to be redirect right here http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/161/dexter .
Would be this possible ?

I am not in favour for this kind of searches. It is very annoying in my opinion if you look for an unknown series :)
I've seen this type of behaviour on other sites and dislike it as well. Especially when it's not the content I was looking for.
I agree, I don't think I would appreciate such functionality.
But we will undoubtably add an auto-complete to the search field; which would make it possible to get to your desired result even quicker.

Auto-complete is also great option, that I would appreciate, but some sort of functionality would be really good step forward
Won't happen. The admins have already declared they refuse to give unique identifiers to non-unique shownames.
