Stats not working properly

lucasbenica wrote 10 years ago: 1

My stats page doesn't add all episodes I marked as seen. For example, I watched all 121 episodes from LOST, and it only shows 24 episodes, tho they're counted in the number of watched episodes.. The same thing happens with the networks totals, and the genres pizza graphic. :(

Hey there,

this was done for a reason, if you mark for example 100 episodes as watched on a day, it surpasses 24 hours (what you can actually watch on a day), so it cannot be shown on the graphs.

If you mark for example a whole season as watched at once , it won't be shown below "just watched"

If you mark each ep one after one, it will be shown there.

But below"All-time", everything you mark is counted, the time, the episodes and the shows.

I hope I could help you.

If you got more questions, feel free to ask

cheers

Juan

My Most Watched Shows listing is not working/counting correctly?

America's Got Talent (27 eps)

I have watched every single episode of every season 9 total plus 3 so far from season 10 for a grand total of 223 episodes and they are all marked GREEN yet it indicates only 27?

Juan I just now read your reply/response to this question already and I'm sorry however I do NOT understands your answer. Anyways regardless of this fact and how many we mark in the same day it NEEDS to show the correct # of episodes because we may have to mark episodes for shows as we remember we saw them so the site default is not fair! I would have to mark 24 Episodes for WWE Monday Night RAW daily for quite a few weeks to get properly caught up, so why should we have to do that?

Besides that what if we watched 30 minute long episodes then it should be 48 episodes that we could have watched in a 24 hour period? Please change this very silly and unfair default? Also it only limits on certain shows because I marked this many episodes all today on this show and it did not limit it to 24 - Big Brother (143 eps).

I think I understand where the confusion comes from.

On your stats page, the "Most Watched Shows" part (like all other blocks on the left side of the page) refers to the time window that you can select on top of the page. So by default it refers to the past month, but you can also choose to see the past week's or past year's statistics.

If you mark an entire batch of episodes as watched at once, the system stores that it's unknown when exactly you have watched that episode. Therefore these episodes are not included in the "past months" statistics block.
