I'm aware of a TV show (not on TVMaze yet) that was created in Russia, definitely aired in the Ukraine, but I can't confirm whether it ever actually aired in Russia (and therefore can't confirm if the Ukraine airing was the premiere).
Is it acceptable to create a request for this show (using the Ukraine channel)?
It would help if you state the series you are talking about. There might be some Russians out here that know more about it or have better sources, but if you are certain it aired first in Ukraine, you can set it to there, however you have to be sure about it.

I can't find any information about it airing outside of the Ukraine, it just seems unusual that I can't find any information about it airing in Russia (where it was created).
This site I believe says that this series has premiered on 22nd of october 2012 on Россия (Kinopoisk link), so I suppose if it aired in the Ukraine before this time, it should be set to Ukraine.
But I will ask one of our trusted contributors, which is better known with editing Russian shows :)
The Ukraine airing was also on 22nd of October 2012, so considering I can't find any information on the channel it aired on in Russia, is it okay to use the Ukraine one?

Both (your 'kinopoisk' and my 'kino-teatr') links say that the show was first aired in Ukraine (2012) on the Inter-channel, and then in Russia (2014) on the NTV-channel.

My question is not about the premiere date of a new show, but rather the season premiere of a current show. I know that a show's (AGT) new season will start in Summer 2016 (as mentioned on the official website and on the news), although a specific airdate/title is not given. Can I add the 1st episode for that season as "Summer 2016" as the title with no airdate, or do I need to wait for the specific airdate to be released?

Only confirmations will be added. If channel says season 4 will start march 2016, but no day yet, this could only be inserted in season 4. Showing REturning march 2016 until any official date has been given :)
