When Main Cast aren't in an episode.

Hi ChrisAmon, hope you're well!

Can I just confirm that you are aware of the following: when a main cast actor does not appear in an episode, all you need to do is not mark the checkbox in the main cast section signifying their appearance? They should not be added as 'credit only' in guest cast section.

I've come across this a few times here and there in your edits for the older shows (and have corrected a lot of them), but I just wanted to make sure you were aware that adding a missing main cast actor into the guest cast 'credit only' section should not be done.

Since my original message above, you have continued to add main characters not in a specific episode to the 'credit only' guest cast section, despite my pointing out that this should not be done on TVMaze. (I have subsequently deleted those additions.) Given that the rest of your edits are perfectly fine, I'm inclined to think this is just a simple misunderstanding. However, I'd very much appreciate it if you could please confirm you have read and understood my above message about this issue.

All I was doing was to put in credited only in the opening on The Practice when the main character didn't appeared when I watch it on television.

Yes, I know what you were doing, I'm asking you to please not do it as it does not comply with TVMaze policy.

I understand that those specific main cast actors are not in that episode, even though they are credited in the opening titles. If a main cast actor is credited in the opening titles, but does not appear in the episode, you just leave them out of the main cast section (by not checking the little box on the manage cast appearances page) - you do not add them to the guest cast 'credit only' section.
