Such a relief. Season 1 was fantastic, and this latest one has also been great but what I've really been waiting for is Lestat's turn on centre stage. Louis was always a bit too mopey for me as the main character - time to bite into adapting The Vampire Lestat and Queen of the Damned.

Well, it's a bit of a shame but actually, they'd pretty much wrapped up the story satisfactorily in one season. They did allow for continuation with the way they left things but it still works as a one-shot season.

Pleased about this. It's a bit of an odd show and the acting is all over the shop, but it's watchable, explores some interesting ideas and a scifi show that isn't part of a gargantuan franchise is as rare as hen's teeth and should be encouraged.
