This is an excellent episode of Naked City where Diahann Carroll plays a Special Education teacher to six handicapped children. The children who are 10 years old and all near blind, go on a field trip. One of the boys, played by John Magna, exits the bus after an argument with his teacher. The rest of the story reveals his parents consider him "blind", while Miss Carroll says no. The lost boy encounters people, who force him into life changing experiences, while the police search for him and the teacher and parents wait at the police station. He's finally spotted by a detective finding his way home, so he calls the station to ask Miss Carroll, if he should pick the boy up, or follow him while he finds his way home. She says follow him. John Megna also played "Dill" in "To Kill A Mockingbird", and Diahann Carroll had her own program " Julia".
