It's a long shot but Netflix is in talks to rescue Designated Survivor. It may actually be a better fit at ~13 episodes/season on a streamer than 22 on broadcast.
ABC has given a Season 6 order to Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.
@SilverSurfer OK that might be true... but I just saw an interview with Kiefer on Dutch TV last week where he was talking about season 3 probably being a short season with less episodes...He said because 22 episodes every season was a lot for writers to come up with... So they must have been talking about it... something must have happened for them to pull the plug.
I'm most bummed about Kevin (Probably) Saves the World. Designated Survivor is a show that's been disappointing me this season, with things not feeling the same from last season.
@mpflipper I just read that Kiefer had it in his contract that season 3 would move production from Toronto to LA which would have substantially raised costs per episode ... not the only reason it was axed but when your ratings are low and you're on the bubble you don't want issues tipping that balance in the wrong/cancel direction.
Designated Survivor Cancelled ?! I didn't see that one coming... no other surprises in this list !
