NBC announced renewals for most of the Dick Wolf shows last week. Chicago Fire, Med, and PD were all renewed for another season, along with Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU. Conspicuously absent from the renewal list was Law & Order: Organised Crime. The latest iteration of the Law & Order series is the lowest-rated drama for the network, so it's possible it could be on the cancel block. The network loves those franchise-night blocks, though, so don't hold the "save our show" events quite yet. Night Court and Extended Family both lost two hundred thousand viewers last week. Night Court isn't in any danger. Extended Family should be renewed, but it can't afford any more viewer losses.

ABC saw 9-1-1 gain more viewers last week. The drama picked up half a million viewers over its premiere. Those gains did not transfer to Grey's Anatomy or Station 19, however. Both lost one hundred thousand viewers off their premieres. The network also showed its willingness to burn off episodes of cancelled The Good Doctor, airing a new episode while the rest of the Tuesday night lineup was repeats.

CBS Thursday and Friday schedules will be scrambled for the next two weeks as the NCAA Basketball tournament gets into full swing. Tracker returned after a week off, losing almost one hundred thousand viewers. The Equaliser dropped four hundred thousand viewers but is in no danger and should be easily renewed. The network also proved it was willing to burn off episodes of cancelled shows by airing a new episode of Bob (Hearts) Abishola while the rest of the Monday night lineup was repeats.

FOX had a mixed bag of ratings last week. The Cleaning Lady was up almost one hundred thousand viewers. Alert: Missing Persons Unit was down a few tens of thousands. Alert might squeak a renewal, but to do that, it can't lose any more viewers. Family Guy lost a few more tens of thousands of viewers last week. It's safe to say the experiment didn't work. Don't be surprised when the show moves back to its normal Sunday night slot next season. Krapopolis returned after a week off, down a few tens of thousands of viewers. Grimsburg was basically even.

And in regards to CW importing so many Canadian shows, I hope if Wild Cards and Son of a Critch get renewed on their respective networks, I hope CW will continue to air those shows.

Chances are CW will pick the retransmissions as they are cheap programming and CW is all about cheap these days.

I doubt Walker will last after this season on CW. Hopefully Extended Family will get renewed, it’s been fun to watch. Do you know when Superman and Lois will air?

No, the four remaining original shows on the CW (Walker, All American, All American: Homecoming, and Superman & Lois) will all be cancelled at the end of this season. Its practically guaranteed. Sadly the new Librarians series from Dean Devlin will be on CW next season and I can't see the network giving it any support.
