God talks about how changing one little thing can change the world. Chloe chases a purse snatcher into an alleyway Men pull up in a van, gun her down, and drive away. Her partner arrives and runs to her, but can only hold "Bonnie" as she dies. The director calls cut, and a PA brings Chloe a cup to catch the fake blood that she's spitting out. Production Inconsistencies note
Fox cancelled the series before the episode aired, but it was added at the end of the season. Story-wise, this episode should follow episode 15, High School Poppycock, and after the other "bonus" episode, Boo.

Fox cancelled Lucifer. 3x25 and 3x26 were recorded for season 3 but got held for season 4. Since season 4 wasn't happening, Fox burned the two episodes off one night after the season was over.
Netflix brought Lucifer back for seasons 4-6, but that wasn't decided until after these aired.
So these are official "bonus episodes", just not in the planned order.
That's why they don't make sense with the continuity considering what happened with the actual season finale of 3x24.
