Thoroughly disappointing end and I'm not even talking about the Charlie farce. The animated bit- stupid, the whole making Rose that much of a psycho-no, the sabotaging Lynsey's growth for one stupid gag, the disappearance of the character of Louis (what was the point of even bringing him in?), the reappearance of Jenny who disappeared pretty much without a trace early in the season, two minutes of Jake with way too long hair for the army so terrible explanation of that. It was just a whole lot of rubbish. I loved the show, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the change when Walden was introduced, and therefore felt completely shafted by the dumb choices made in this finale.
