I'm furious! How dare Anthony Spinella come onto the show and think that he has a right to put ALL of the blame onto Richard Day, when, in reality, it was Anthony and his brothers ( mostly Anthony) who drove Richard to the breaking point in all of this??! My God, in his interview on the show, he ( even to this day ), sounds like a BULLY, saying how he and his brothers had enjoyed pissing Richard off and calling him names! No, I'm not excusing what Richard did. He snapped and he killed Robert, Anthony's Uncle, with his vehicle, and there's NO excuse for what he did. It's too bad that he made that fateful decision that night to go over there, but he did, and he had to pay the consequences for his actions. But, you know, Anthony's mother, and the other adults in that family, should have been teaching those boys to be respectful to all people, instead of allowing them to bully people! According to the show, the mother didn't do a darn thing to disciplined those teenage boys! She just allowed them to go out on their bikes and do whatever they wanted to do! And then she would get pissed and yell when Richard Day accused them of stealing! When Walter's bike was stolen, didn't that mother notice that her son had a bike that didn't belong to him? Didn't she pay ANY attention to those boys at all, and teach them manners and to be respectful? Yes, Richard SHOULD HAVE JUST LET IT GO, and not let the BULLIES get to him. Yes, he was at fault for much of this, and yes, he was the only one responsible for the death of Robert. But if those kids hadn't put it all into action, and purposely taunted Richard and bullied both Richard and Walter, NONE of this would have ever happened in the first place. They ARE partly responsible.

I feel bad for Walter and his mother. The interview that Walter gave on the show, showed compassion and truth. The bad decision that he made that night to go with his dad will forever be with him. The innocent victims in all of this were Walter, his mother, and Robert. May Robert rest in peace.

The person killed (Robert) was an innocent in all this. I feel for him. His family however not at all. His sister and her sons are directly responsible for his death. They felt they could do what they wanted and hurt others. They are arrogant fools. The mom is an ignorant enabler who should have beat the crap out f those boys and they would have stopped the mess they created. I do not let the man who killed Robert off the hook he should have found a legal way to take care of the asshole neighbor kids. Had the cops even talked to that family once it could have made a difference. The other family was being pushed around in their own home. I get there is no excuse for murder believe me but those kids created the fate that befell their uncle who tried to make them behave. I hope they think about that the rest of their lives but they probably are just as bad as adults. Disgusting.
