It’s official — Netflix has ordered a sixth season of Lucifer, which will be its last. The announcement acknowledges the fact that the streamer previously renewed the series for a fifth season, which also was billed as final, calling Season 6 “FINAL final.”

The Lord of Hell is coming back and he is appropriately devilish as ever. Netflix has announced that the first part of the fifth season of Lucifer will debut on August 21. Along with the date reveal, the streamer released 66.6 seconds (see what they did there?) of some of Lucifer’s greatest hits, which mostly include his hottest, sexiest, most devilish moments.

The upcoming fifth season of Lucifer may not be as final as it seemed. Netflix is in talks with series producer Warner Bros. TV about another installment of the comic book drama, sources have confirmed to Deadline. I hear executive producers Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson, who have been steering the show, would need to make a new deal but would like to do another season.

According to show's twitter account, 'Lucifer' has been renewed for the fifth and final season.
