Right now the API only gives schedule for a day only or full list and to cache a week response at my end, I am required to hit API multiple times with different days. Wouldn't it be easier for API users (and less load on TVmaze servers) if they get an exclusive API for such scenario to hit the API only once?

I'm not sure if we'll add this, in general we try to limit the amount of different endpoints that lead to the same data. (You ask for a week, but someone else might want a month; a year; a trimester from 3 different countries combined, and we'd end up with a dozen different endpoints).
Feel more than free to hit the API subsequently for the 7 days in a week though.
