Characters listed twice in the same episode

It's not the first time i've encountered this strange thing, so i think it is a bug.

For example Ra's al Ghul from the Arrow. In 8 episodes he's listed twice.

Maybe it's the other side of this bug?

There's variations to this problem.

For example, Malcolm Merlin has 3(!) appearances listed in episode 1x23, 2 in the main cast and one as a guest (where he should be listed) :)

Removed the main cast appearance.

This is indeed most likely caused by a merge. If a (guest) cast credit existed for both actors that were merged, the resulting merged actor will have a duplicate credit.

It should be possible to detect it when this happens though and automatically remove the duplicate. Will leave this thread here as a reminder to do so!
