How to edit Actor/Character information as a main character on an existing show

Not sure what's the problem is?

Here's all of the show's main cast members, and Stefanie Martini among them.

BTW, adding her as a main cast member to Emerald City was wrong. She was only guest starring, and her character is already present https://www.tvmaze.com/characters/367569/emerald-city-langwidere

Please keep in mind, that the main/guest separation have nothing to do with the number of appearances or the significance of the character. The only thing that matters is how the actor is credited in the episode.

My original question was about how to assign "starring as" or main character roles so the actor appears on the main show page. The reason I used "Prime Suspect 1973" as an example is Stefanie Martini plays the starring role, yet she doesn't appear on the main show page. Now,, to adding her to "Emerald City" =). I noticed when I checked her main TVmaze page earlier, she had no association as a "Actor" to the series at all in any capacity. That is to say.. when I checked her main page there wasn't a reference that she was in Emerald City until I made the association. When I created her link I didn't see an option to set her as a main or (otherwise) supporting cast member. Not sure if I missed that or if it's an option.

I'm definitely still new to TVmaze interface so do have lot's of questions. So far I enjoy the community and really want to accurately contribute so appreciate the help.

The main show page only lists at most 8 cast members.

They're listed by the number of appearances, so if the appearances are set for each episode then the ones who appeared in the most episodes will show.

on the main show page when you look under the cast tab, those actors have all at some point been credited as main cast for the series. And as gazza has stated, only some stars will appear on the main page. To see them all you have to click on the "cast" tab.

Guest stars do not get added under that tab. If you want to add a guest star, you have to go to the page for the episode in question, click "guest cast" tab and then add from there.

And at the moment there is no way to view all the actors who have appeared in a show, only the characters that have been added. (under "character" tab). once you find the character and click on that, you will see under that profile all episodes that character appears in as well as who portrayed them.

I really don't know what to say to you, except that it's a fault in perception or something...

I don't know, how is it possible to not see an Emerald City there?

And yes, you will not find her at the cast page of the show, because she's a recurring guest star, not a main cast member. While there's no way (yet) to see all of the show's actors, you could see all of the characters https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/4293/emerald-city/characters, and Langwidere a.k.a. Lady Ev is on the top of the recurring guest characters.
