If you're asking if you need a VPN to be able to watch shows, I think you might be getting confused as to the functionality of TVmaze.
As can be seen (or lack thereof) on our features page, we do not facilitate watching any shows.
If you want something similar to this, I suggest voting for the pending feature to link to / embed (where possible) legal sources.
