1. For "The Flash" by CW, in its summary in the api it has quotes around the word meta-human which is invalidating the json. Instead you can use ‘’.

2. Can the summaries in the API remove <p> and </p> because sometimes people want to show it in plain text or want to add a class/id to the summary.

This is how it is currently

1. Any quotation marks in the properties are escaped; if you go to https://api.tvmaze.com/shows/13 you'll see that it does \"meta-human\"

2. Simply removing it wouldn't help for plain text as you can have bold & italic formatting in the summary as well. For a class/id, you can easily wrap it in another element.

The plain text/markup in the api is something that depends on preference. Most users benefit from it.

The formatting is helpful as it provides additional context to the content itself.

If you want it in plain text you'll have to strip out basic tags such as <p> <i> <b> and quotations yourself.
