No they should not be left as specials as they are 2 separate individual shows as I pointed out before. If it can't be restored I will bring it back manually!

Oh and don't think to hard you might hurt your Brain?

Haha, well I am sanitizing all running scripted shows for 2 hours now, to merge characters that need to be merged, but it is kinda relaxing while listening to some evil Black Metal sound :)

Can we somehow drag the cast from one show to other?
Please, tell me how to pick an existing character, because I need all 8 main characters to be adding for both shows.
While adding the actor on the Create cast page I can choose the (russian) name of the existing actor, but the name of the already existing character isn't appearing while typing, it's only offering to create new.
Please merge this 3 characters (actors are the same for each pair):

You cannot drag characters from one show to another, you have to create them new in the new show, the existing character is not appearing because the tool only looks for characters WITHIN a show.

I do not fully understand what you mean with separating main and support cast. To create a new MAIN CAST you just click on Cast and add it, the others you just enter within the episodes under guest cast, recurring guest cast is then automatically listed.

I cannot merge those characters, as they are from two different shows, sorry :(

I have a question regarding recasts: sometimes the same character is played by different actors over the course of a TV show (this happens a lot on soap operas, for instance), so I was wondering what is the rule to follow on TVMaze : should a different character page be created for each actor playing the role, or is it better to select the same character from the list when adding the different actors who have played the role? I was doing the latter but I have noticed a few instances of the former since then (for example, the character Billie Reed from Days of our Lives has three different character pages: one for Lisa Rinna, one for Julie Pinson and one for Krista Allen) so I'm a little confused. Can you please clarify which is the correct way of proceeding in those cases? Thank you for your help.

The right course of action is to use ONE character page and add all the actors to it that played the character thru the years.

You will surely find some mistakes here, those need to be corrected :)

1) & 3) It's not that I'm lazy to make some extra moves to create a new adding, but I think that it's not right to duplicate characters. It's a pity.
2) I meant the characters that are appearing in every (or almost every) episodes (which altogether you call main cast, as I understood now, sorry):
#1 principle, leading role + #2 supporting (secondary) role (like friends, parents, which is always there, but not leading).
Sometimes main cast counts many characters because of the secondary roles.
It would be nice to have an option to mark the characters #1 and #2 to rank them by their importance on the Cast page
and to see only #1 - leading characters - on the Main page of the show.

#3 Guests is appearing only in 1 or very few episodes. I didn't talk about them at all.
