Hi Jan, I tried to import my data but it doesnt work, it constantly says that my data (username or password) is invalid while I've tried to put the right data over and over again. Can you please help me? Much appreciated!

We're monitoring the migration tool closely. It seems the tool is over capacity. If this happens again. try waiting about 15min before using the tool again.

We've since added extra capacity. If you received an error message earlier, try again! :)

The vast majority of imports is now going through without any problems. If you're still having issues, please try again after one hour.

If your import keeps failing after several tries, it might be that your amount of followed shows & watched episodes at FMTV is too large to be able to import automatically. In a few days from now, we'll start offering to run the import manually for the affected users.

I checked the logs and your import has timed out. This indeed indicates that there are more shows/episodes than can be imported. If you want, I can attempt to import them manually, but I would need your username and password for that. If you're interested, let me know, and I'll contact you via email.

I'me trying to migrate everything from my follow.my TV account. But it only migrates 2 shows. I have already done some manual input, but I have followed a lot over the years. Can anyone help me out?

A while after we created the import tool, FMT announced that they managed to repair the site. So we haven't monitored or updated the import tool ever since, I had no idea people were still trying to use it!

If there's more people who still want to switch to TVmaze after all, let me know and I'll check if there's anything we have to adjust/fix.

Hi, I tried to import the data automatically, (link in your blog update) but it only imported 6 shows. I am seriously looking for an alternative to fmtv and tvmaze looks the best option so far. Is there anyway to transfer all my tv shows on tvmaze?

Have you been checking our database already if your series are available in our database? If not, you could request them to be added using the following link; http://www.tvmaze.com/request/create

Otherwise Jan or David should stop by for their support in this matter as it is made by them.

Hey guys,

The first time that followmy.tv stopped working due to its data provider going dark. We created the importer for whoever wanted to create a 'backup' of their favorite shows and watch history. Shortly after, fmtv changed their system. Thus making the importer useless.

We are willing to restore the importer if there are enough users asking for it. Our time is limited and we try to use our resources where most needed.
If you feel like we should give priority to fixing the importer, then let it be known by voting on it here.

I apologise for picking up this old thread, but the tool doesn't seem to work for me. It only seems to refresh the adds every time...

Is there any chance you could check this?
