Adding a new sorting filter : least left to see

Cecile wrote 9 years ago: 1

Hello,

With the 'complete the most' filter, the sorting consider the percent of seen episodes from the total count of available episodes.

For example, I have 50 episodes left to see on a serie for a total of 222 episodes, so the filter count it most complete than a serie of 3 episodes, all unseen. But the second serie will be faster to complete.

So I suggest a new filter; which will consider the least time needed to complete a serie.

What do you think about it?

No one has any thought about this?

This would be nice to have, but I think with all the stuff david and jan are coding right now, it won't have the highest priority :)

cheers

I really wanted this feature too, hope they can add it to this site :)

Again, I just wanted to recommend this feature, and saw it had already been suggested here on the forums :). I definitely find it odd to see that a show where I have 81/89 episodes is less complete than a show where I have 10/11 episodes, given the sort by percentage versus episode count. It would be cool to sort it either as Cecile suggested above (i.e., least time to complete series), or perhaps a simpler/easier to code fix where you can sort by 'completed the most (episode count)' versus the already existing 'complete the most (percentage)'. Or something!

Could I ask another question about this? While I know it sorts by percent rather than number of episodes (i.e., a show with 10/11 episodes watched would be placed higher than a show with 120/150 watched), sometimes the sorting is a bit off (even according to %). For example, right now, I have Bob's Burgers as the most complete (95/96), followed by New Girl (101/102), then Brooklyn 9-9 (61/62). I'm not sure how this got ordered like that, since the percentages would be: 98.95%, 99.01%, and 98.39% respectively. Is it a rounding issue matched with alphabetical order?

Thanks!

I'm curious about this too.
