Magnum P.I. "The Lies We Tell" (S03E11)

tvjjbj12 posted 3 years ago

Hey RoseRed,

I request changing the airdate back to March 26, 2021. I can't because the airdate is locked after three changes. This episode didn't air on March 12, 2021, due to CBS repeating Oprah With Meghan and Harry: A CBS Primetime Special. Also, MacGyver S03E11 didn't air for the same reason. Next Friday, March 19, CBS airs basketball tournaments.

Here's the CBS press release on the airing;  https://www.viacomcbspressexpress.com/cbs-entertainment/shows/magnum-pi/releases/view?id=57000. Also, this article discusses the change: https://cartermatt.com/432602/magnum-pi-season-3-episode-11-return-date-delayed-whens-it-back/. It has bounced around for sure. Thanks for your help. I hope you and your family are safe.

Secrets of Sulphur Springs

The credits showed up as Parts 1 & 2 written by ... and Part 3 written by ... and same for director, but one set of credits for cast at the end.

RoseRed posted 3 years ago

But you're right, the home page lists them as 3 different episodes with 3 different titles.

RoseRed posted 3 years ago

absolutely should be changed, watching on the actual Disney Channel and it is separate - you wanna change it or you want me to?

Thanks for fixing it.

By the way I found a good source for official Disney premieres just in case you want to bookmark it:

Name

Hi, just curious if you took your user name from the Stephen King story of the same name. Have a good day.

RoseRed posted 3 years ago

Definitely from Stephen King's story - loved everything about it. Thanks for asking, drosso!

I thought that might be it, then you might be interested in this link to Thornewood Castle in Tacoma Washington where the show was filmed. https://www.thornewoodcastle.com/about-the-castle

RoseRed posted 3 years ago

Wow, I did not know that (but I should have). If I had a bucket list, a stay at the castle would certainly be on it. Thanks, drosso - very nice of you.

DWTS Finale

RoseRed posted 3 years ago

Hey Magitroopa,

In the season finale they always bring back the previous "stars" to do a really quick dance with their partner as basically a filler. So in the finale, all the dancers that were in the first episode should be listed. I believe they do that every season.

RoseRed posted 3 years ago

But if it wasn't the season finale then you're right - they shouldn't be there. My bad.

Magitroopa posted 3 years ago

Oh woops, skipped through it, but didn't see the opening of the performance!

They all were in the Pitbull/Ne-Yo performance. So yes- maybe they should all be added on.

AND realized my mistake as I was typing this... thought Sean and James were the only eliminated people listed, completely forgot the button to see the full guest cast, lol.

RoseRed posted 3 years ago

I've got a question for ya' since you watch the show. The pro dancers - do you think they should be cast or guest stars?

Magitroopa posted 3 years ago

To be honest, I really don't watch the show (I usually watch if there's someone I'm rooting for. In particular for last season, Kel.)

My best assumption (Maybe it's better to start a thread in the forums asking about this?...) would be they would to add them as guest, as per the policies. They'd be a recurring role, which would get added as a guest star. I'd only say the host(s) and judges are 'main' cast (especially since they often rotate- Lindsay Arnold and Witney Carson are both not in the upcoming season). Maybe this past thread (though it's about contestants instead) could help give some insight?...
