Kingsley first comes to University desperate to have new experiences. After years of looking after his sick mother and hanging out with the same few male friends, he's all ready to dive into being (semi) independent. The problem is, he's a bit prone to making bad decisions – and isn't exactly great at facing up to the consequences of his actions. He and Josie develop a bit of a complicated relationship during first year. Although there's a mutual attraction there, it's somewhat hampered by the fact that Kingsley decides to start dating one of her friends. And, although they do finally hook up at the end of series two, Josie has to relocate from Manchester to Southampton after getting kicked off her dentistry course. Will there be a happy ending to this University romance?
