The maid who was the "mother" of them all dies of a heart attack at the age of 63 while making a bed in the hotel. The overload of work to which she had been exposed for years had been too much for her.
Pilar had always dreamed of being a dancer, touring the world and breaking a thousand hearts... but hers could not take it. After more than 25 years without missing a single day for the hotel guests, she has been on the verge of her longed-for retirement and collapsed on the bed of the bridal suite.
An inexplicable force pushes Pilar to finally enjoy all the time in the world. Free of stopwatches, suites, sheets and stress, she has decided to stay a while and, from above, witness the world she leaves to her colleagues. So, when she feels like it, she will return and her voice will resound from above, light, cheerful and jubilant.
Thus, she will be the voice-over of the series, a voice that will bring us closer to the art of dance. It is Pilar who imagines her colleagues coping with some sorrow while they do a sirtaki, dance a line dance or enjoy a pasodoble, a typical Spanish dance.
