Born a peasant, Nakamura was a natural leader and fighter. He used the chaos of the warring states period to build a name and reputation for himself, slowly gaining position until he took over all of Japan. Nakamura died one year before our story begins, leaving the Council of Regents to rule in his place until his heir comes of age.
