John Sugden

John Sugden was the long-lost son of Jack Sugden, born to Jack's ex-girlfriend, Barbara, following their brief fling in early-1988 and also the estranged husband of Aaron Dingle. In August 2024, Jack's daughter Victoria Sugden learned of her half-brother's existence and he ended up moving to the village, where he got a job at the Brook Cottage Surgery. He began a relationship with Aaron shortly after his arrival and they later got married. John also has a compulsion to save people and often puts people in danger in order to get the adulation of being viewed as a hero, which resulted in the death of Nate Robinson. In January 2026, he was killed by Victoria when he tried attacking her.
