Anthony was a high flying corporate lawyer, a family man with two beautiful kids, and a loving wife. He lost it all due to a penchant for cocaine. It started when he was taking out clients after work. Cocaine is powerful drug, and he loved it. He was a functional addict for about five years, and his assistant covered for him. His assistant went on mat leave and things began to fall apart. He started an affair with his new assistant and together they disappeared for 3 and 4 day benders. His marriage fell apart and his wife moved cities with his two small children. After losing his job and his license to practice law, he quickly hit rock bottom. He checked himself into a faith-based rehab and began the long road back.
Meeting Daisy in rehab, they struck up a platonic friendship. They understood each other. Daisy loved that Anthony called her on all her bullshit. His life is a cautionary tale for Daisy and he's a strong presence and influence in her life. Dealing with a drug addiction is a day to day thing and that's how he advises Daisy to take it.
