A prison guard at Shawshank State Prison, Dennis Zalewski is expecting his first child with his wife, but is overwhelmed by the way Shawshank is run. After meeting with Henry Deaver, he believes that there may be a chance at changing things for the better once and for all - assuming a new discovery in Castle Rock doesn't get in the way.
