Heather's's background is not known, other than that she was imprisoned for violent crimes. She presumably escaped when the Inner Circle deactivates all the power dampening collars in the U.S. Heather has the mutant ability to teleport any object that she is looking at, to another point that she is also looking at. Whether she can teleport objects further beyond her line of sight, or what the range is that she can teleport objects across, is not known.
