Mrs Parker

A friend of the Scarlet family, although not very friendly to say the least, Mrs Parker is a stubborn, hot-tempered busybody. The matriarch of a rich family, she's initially intent on making a match between Eliza and her son Rupert. As Henry Scarlet forgot to renew the lease on the family home it later transpires that, although Eliza has been spared an unpleasant mother-in-law, she's gained an unpleasant landlady!
