Christopher "Chris in the Morning" Danforth Stevens

Christopher Stevens is a fugitive convict that fled to Alaska to live his life. He knows he is safe as long as some areas of Alaska are desperate for workers. He found his job in The Rolling Stone as a Minister Priest of a non denominational church and later has a second job as a Disc Jockey. He is very nice and understanding. One example is that he decided to bail Holling out of Debt. Another example is he is completely unfazed when Ruth Ann steals his motorcycle. Despite being well liked and well meaning, he is not above scheming people, and even admits it is hard to resist the urge. He says that Jazz Music is suicidal, hunts endlessly until a Deity intervened, scams Maggie out of her own possessions, and later dates Maggie for money. He also chased Meredith Swanson for superficial reasons. She decided to meet him and teamed up with Shelly so that Meredith would deliberately look homely to prove a point. Chris is revealed to have Bias and Prejudice against Angelo Maxwell. Chris and Bernard have the same Caucasian father. When Bernard goes to Cicely, Chris is a completely different person. They hug, sit next to each other, are inseparable, and share the same dreams at the same time. Chris has worn Cornrows as he declared himself to be an African Native. He decided to "Explore" Africa, until saying Bernard needs to go instead. Despite being well liked by Marilyn, she has no tolerance for insubordinate behaviours and sentences him to Etiquette Reeducation Classes. One of the reasons why Chris is so reckless and dangerous is because he thought he was cursed, just as Maggie is. Chris has a strong liking of Joel and felt abandoned when Joel left town.
