Lanie is a Medical Examiner at the top of her field. She's got a say-it-like-it-is sarcastic humor that cuts to the point. Though she spends more time with dead people then the living, and she doesn't mind. As long as she can put on a sexy party dress and leave it all behind at the end of the day. She's whip smart and puts her talents to use on some of Beckett's strangest cases. She's Beckett's confidante and is very protective of her friend. She can also see right through Beckett when it comes to her relationship with Castle. In her mind there's nothing wrong with dating someone you work with (she's proven that with Esposito). She knows what she wants and she isn't afraid to get it, by any means necessary.
