He's Krista's rival as a young top-gun pilot. A sharp-dressing pilot from Winnipeg, Blake (like Krista) has wanted to be a pilot since he was a little kid. Unlike Krista, Blake's loyalty to Arctic Air - and to pretty much everything else - tends to be situational. Restless and ambitious, Blake sees Arctic Air as a stepping-stone to bigger and better things. But the more time he spends in Yellowknife, particularly with Krista (with whom he's been having a secret fling), the more he realizes Yellowknife is where he wants to stay.
