The Stag and Huntsman

The final visit of the week is to The Stag and Huntsman in Hambleden, Oxfordshire, managed by South African chef Marius Pretorius and his partner Sarah Harris. A pub, restaurant and bed and breakfast, they have a lot on their plate but strive to maintain high standards in all areas. On arrival most of the guests are wowed by their rooms, but for bed specialists Paulo and Suzi, their mattress lacks any bounce. That afternoon, during a rowing competition, Marius and Sarah's drive and determination are picked up on by their guests. At dinner, Marius and Sarah are on a charm offensive, but not everyone believes the warmth around the table is genuine. At breakfast, Marius's professional chef skills aren't appreciated by everyone and there's an unexpected guest, which is the fly in the ointment come feedback.
