An elderly Dr. Ames is walking through the mist-shrouded woods and falls onto the road. He looks back and sees a giant brain sitting on a hillside, and then collapses in exhaustion and fear. Wade Norton is driving by and sees Ames, stops, and goes over to check on him. Ames, dying, gasps and clutches at his chest.
