I'm on the record as strongly supporting long drawn out, will they / won't they, relationships. JAG and X-Files could teach a masterclass on the topic. That said, with these two constantly talking about how much they love each other, even if you didn't know about their history from the comics, it would have been hard to go much longer without that ending happening.
With the exception of Hardy's portrayal, I've never been a big Bane fan. But after watching him on this show, I wouldn't mind seeing a darker DC Animated movie staring him.
