Mörderische Hitze

Midsummer in the Spreewald. The heat hits everyone. A man threw himself in front of a truck on a lonely country road. Intent to commit suicide. The unknown is covered in blood and needs to be operated on. A lot of foreign blood is discovered on his clothing. The man has obviously committed a serious crime, but is now seriously injured in an artificial coma and is not audible. His identity will soon be established: Gottfried Richter, most recently active as a package messenger in the impassable Spreewald, married, a daughter. Surveys and investigations result, that Gottfried Richter must have recently killed a person. But where and whom? Where are his wife and teenage daughter?
In a narrative typical of the „ Spreewaldkrimi ", this time it is not the perpetrator but the victim who is sought. Commissioner Krüger and his team follow the package messenger's path through the Spreewald. You come across a family drama. Low wages in the delivery service and the switch from wood to light metal when building a boat, important aspects are important for the plot. The producer and co-initiator of the series, Wolfgang Esser, brought the team of the first film back together for this sixth „ Spreewaldkrimi ": director Kai Wessel, cameraman Holly Fink, editor Tina Freitag, Mixer Richard Borowski and composer Ralf Wienrich – who this time even engaged the Babelsberg film orchestra for the score oscillating between classical and jazz. „ Spreewaldkrimi – Murderous heat ", like all others written by Thomas Kirchner, tells the story of a likeable outsider who becomes a murderer. Despite all the goodwill efforts, the married Gottfried Richter does not find his place in the Spreewald community. It is portrayed by Roeland Wiesnekker, his partner Christina Große.In addition to Christian Redl as Commissioner Krüger, Claudia Geisler, Rike Schäffer and Thorsten Merten can be seen as investigators. „ Murderous Heat " was invited to the TV Krimi Festival in Wiesbaden and to the festival achtung berlin.
