The idea is interesting and fully shown in the first episode. Others episodes don't add anything to the idea or sci-fi component, like explanation, mechanics or history of that technique. Only relationship stories (boring, hard to watch, end abruptly and unsatisfying) in which soulmates thing is a minor element in the background and could be easily removed without any difference.
So they failed the sci-fi and romance/drama as well.
Felt like a Black Mirror episode. I look forward to seeing how they approach the same concept in the other episodes.
