A police helicopter unit is called in to help protect the life of a former underworld figure who is about to testify against his ex-boss: In "The Informer, Arnie Nolan, an ex-accountant for the underworld, who has been worked over by crime boss George Brenner's hoodlums, is secretly taken via helicopter to a beach hideaway by Officers Gil Foley and Don Burdick. But Nolan's location is discovered by a pair of paid thugs, following a phone call to his wife, Jean.
