After School Special
This is a strong episode. The subject of guns at school is dealt with in a realistic way. Acting is top-notch and writing really makes you live the intensity of the plot.

Witches' Sabbath
This is the episode that should have led off the series but, according to executive producer Aaron Spelling, the network was nervous about it since it deals with witchcraft.
The maimed-leg prank was really way-out gross. But it seems that is the kind of weird humor the show handles.
