It's almost like they ran out of money. They skipped the first half of the book. Glossed over the middle and then over simplified the ending. Then there was the use of almost no special effects. This is the season that could have used the most of them.

It's hard to know what difference more episodes would have made. The storylines they left out, like Phoebe becoming a vampire etc, probably couldn't have been done in three more episodes.

For me that was a perfect ending to an amazing show.
