Vikas is a frontline essential services worker at a cremation ground in small town Maharashtra. Due to the nature of his work, he is given an ultimatum by his landlord to vacate his room. With nowhere to go, Vikas and his 9-year old son end up taking shelter right outside the cremation ground while he nervously awaits news on his COVID+ father's health from the local hospital.
