Upton's dogged pursuit of a missing teenage girl leads the team into a dark web of human trafficking. Chief O'Neal becomes involved with the unit's investigation when it becomes evident his son, Sean, has a connection to the missing girl.

Strong whaman chases down fleeing male suspect. You would need two people in normal circumstances as they provide backup for each other. Strong whaman then discovers kidnap victim but because she 'needs no man' gets her head cracked open. Despite being unconscious with blood pouring from a head wound, strong whaman gets up and goes exploring alone again, no lessons learned. This defies all police and medical protocols. If a man acted like that they would be put on leave and disciplined. She then goes off on her own again... Her boss, a man sits back and lets her run the show. She solves the case all by herself. Yay strong whaman FTW. I long for the days of good writing. If 'the message' wasn't crammed in the story would be good.
