Ricardo Diaz, a perp, accuses Joyce Davenport of selling him out and demands a new lawyer. When Attorney Sharon Fein assumes questioning of Diaz, she becomes nervous and pulls a gun on him. Diaz flees with Davenport, drags her into a nearby liquor store, shoots the owner and continues to hold Joyce at gun point. Goldblume and Furillo attempt to talk Diaz into coming out, but it is not until Buntz arrives with persuasive information that Diaz releases his hostage.
