I'm so confused. I thought a DNA test was run in the first or second episode. Jason intercepted the results, didn't show them to Nikki, and told her they showed Keith was their son. Did I dream that? Nobody referred to that test ever again, even when Jason sees C's reconstruction of the body found in the lake.
Absolutely agree with everything you wrote.
Come on! Why aren't they running a DNA test? Parents want to believe, but...what if? They both are in Law Enforcement and the script should be a little different. I feel, as the viewer, that there are a lot of details that are missing, making their story telling feel like it was a draft written on a table corner overnight.
