Aus der Schusslinie

Event manager Becky Gartner is found murdered after a company party. The perpetrator seems to be found quickly, but Attorney General Bernd Reuther doubts the barker's guilt. Judge Juliane Wolff sees it differently and wants to try the accused Louis Engelhardt. Now it is up to Reuther to prove Engelhardt's innocence. He received support from Commissioner Klar, Commissioner for High Fischer and Dr. Judith Engel. And as if this race against the time in the fight for justice was not enough, Reuther is also confronted with his upcoming service anniversary. You want to celebrate him properly, which Reuther doesn't like at all. Even snack operator Schiller is unable to change Reuther's mind.
The investigation into the complex murder case leads Reuther to the ambitious research couple Edith and Thilo Foster. Why has their number appeared on the victim's phone list recently? Car seller Kevin Küster, who was at the party on Murder Night, is also targeted by the investigators. Does he possibly have a motive for murder because he felt hurt by Becky Gartner's rejection of his advances? And why does Louis Engelhardt's inexperienced defense lawyer Leah Gallert Reuther put stones in his quest for the truth? Clarifying this particular case requires Reuthers' entire professional skills.
