Eddies friends have new walkie talkie's and they start pretending to be Martians. Meanwhile, Herman is playing with his new ham radio set pestering people world wide and hears the kids pretending. He believes that they are really spacemen and the next day he drags Grandpa in on it.

All the times I have watched this episode, I had never noticed that the man's voice on the ham radio was Vito Scotti until this time around. A lot of us know him best from the 2 Gilligan's Island episodes with the Mad Doctor Boris Balinkoff and also the Japanese sailor who did not know WWII was over. It just goes to show that even after all these years, you can still pick up something new.
