Two Italian brothers, Aldo and Dante Casnici, come to Sweden in 1948 to work. In their luggage they have memories of the war and fascism. Kattis Ahlström and Niklas Källner follow the tracks of the brothers' different life choices and try to find the one who will inherit 1.4 million.
